**Sacramento High's Class of 1971 40 year reunion was another reunion of sorts. The band "Fast Jack" reunited as well and performed on Saturday night to a warm reception. The band consists of John Bianucci (Class of 1970), Jim Caselli (Christian Bros 1973), Sumner Mering and Jeff Viducich (both Class of 1971). Sumner and Jeff played together circa 1967 in "The Blues Menagerie" which also included Steve Maita from the car dealership family. Sumner and John played together in "Midnight Sun" and Jeff joined them briefly before "Fast Jack" was born. "Fast Jack" was Jim Caselli's first band. Jeff and Jim knew each other from St. Mary's Grammar School and lived in River Park. John and Sumner grew up near Bertha Henschel Park in East Sacramento and went to Theodore JudahElementary School and Sutter Jr. High School together. "Fast Jack" played mainly in Sacramento and Reno at various high school dances and clubs from 1971 to 1972. There also were some special guests including Dave Lee, Rick Thomsen and Joe Texeira.
